Explode Line (ExpLin)

Type: Interactive/Batch Application

Explodes a line (usually, a fonted line) into individual line segments.

Detailed Description

Explodes a line or lines into individual line segments. Explode Line may be run interactively, in which each line is identified before it is exploded, or it may be run in batch mode, in which all the lines in a layer or group of layers is exploded. The application also supports the necessary key-ins to allow it to be placed in a macro. When a line is exploded it is placed into the same layer as the original line. This application is undoable. NOTE: Although Explode Line is undoable, after the undo stack has been cleared by a pack or a file re-open, the original lines cannot be recovered.

RUN	Runs Explode Line with current parameters

Parameters

The WS=, LAY= and RUN parameters are provided so that Explode Line may be run unattended from a macro. Following is an example macro that runs Explode Line:

WS=1

LAY=10 23-35

RUN

When the RUN command completes, Explode Line exits.
